Still life
Once again at Uni, we were given the task of taking a photograph of an object in the studio using only one softbox and a reflector. I started off with the idea of photographing a teapot, so I began experimenting with concepts that one wouldn't usually associate a teapot with. I photographed a 'bleeding' teapot and a teapot as a plant pot. I was pleased with both of these images yet I wasn't completely happy. I then developed my ideas and decided to look into tea parties in general and moved onto tea cups. Finally I produced a set of images that I was completely happy with.
Fashion
Before I came to University, I played around in a make-shift studio with a friend of mine and produced some fashion images. The studio consisted of a piece of black material, and a builders lamp. Other shots, as you will see, were taken in the woods and in the junk yard at our college. I hope to carry on with this at a later date, yet at the moment I have been experimenting with new types of photography and so my fashion has been put on hold.
Portraits
Recently we were give the topic at Uni to photograph someone we'd never met before. This is the man I found, Charles Cork, a volunteer for the Salvation army.
